C-SAFE's members have participated in a number of research projects on several areas within cyber security, communications and self-aware systems, funded by the UK Research Councils, EU FP7 and the industry.
Cyber security courses taught in the University of Greenwich cover computer crime, computer forensics, network security, network implementation, penetration testing, OS and Application Server security, risk management, security policies, cryptography, steganography and audit. Most courses include extensive hands-on laboratory exercises.
C-SAFE runs short courses on Computer Forensics and the Law (intermediate), Encase Computer Forensics 1 and 2 Certification (intermediate), as well as Penetration Testing and Vulnerability Assessment (advanced).
C-SAFE has strong links with several companies, and a number of technical collaborations on R&D, forensic investigation and penetration testing.
