The Centre for Applied Statistics and Systems Modelling (CASSM) co-ordinates the
applied research and consultancy activities, and and the provision of
training courses by Statisticians, Management Scientists and Systems
Modellers in the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences.

- The Centre has expertise in the areas of Data-Analysis, Databases and Knowledge-bases,
Data-mining and the underpinning Software Engineering techniques.
- The Centre can also provide training courses in Statistics and Operational Research,
and use of the appropriate software, targeted at particular application areas.
- We are able to provide R & D and practical solutions to statistical and systems modelling problems,
taking into account the complexities and constraints of your situation.
