The
main aim of this conference is to bring together academics, researchers,
professional and industrial practitioners to discuss research ideas and to
explore the role of knowledge in the information age. The thread that links all
the themes of the workshop title is the exploration of the various aspects
of knowledge and understanding between between human users, human
user & machine, and machine-to-machine. There are many challenges
in all of these aspects and these are reflected in the themes and topics
envisaged for this workshop:![]()

English, no more than about 5000 words long and conform to the IEEE Computer Society

Authors should submit an electronic copy of their paper in
word or pdf or ps format. For abstract and full papers please

KOM3_03 Please include theme/topic of
paper & a list of up to 5 keywords. The first author is the contact person to
whom the decision will be emailed. Do not forget to include the email address(es)
to which notification should be sent. Submitted papers will be carefully
refereed and evaluated based on originality, significance, technical soundness,

IEEE Computer Society Press. Submitted papers will be carefully evaluated based on originality,
significance, technical soundness, and clarity of expression. All papers will be
refereed by at least three members of the program committee.
Authors are invited to submit original research contributions or
experience reports of previously unpublished work.
At least one of the authors of accepted papers is expected to present
their work at the workshop. All attendees must register for the DEXA'2003
