Maritime Greenwich Campus

The DCABES is a community working in the area of Distributed Computing and its Applications in Business, Engineering, and Sciences, and is responsible for organising meetings and symposia related to the field. (See previous meetings from the web site DCABES.)

The ICPACE is the biennial International Conference on Parallel Algorithms and Computational Environment last hosted by the Chinese University of Hong Kong. (See previous meetings from the web site ICPACE.)

The joint DCABES and ICPACE Conference is to be hosted by the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences, University of Greenwich, at the Maritime Greenwich Campus. This series of meetings has been growing very fast in various applications areas and in the use of various software environment.

The theme of this meeting:

  • Web and distributed computing infrastructure and environment for science and engineering.
  • Distributed and parallel algorithms for science and engineering.

  •  

    Sessions to cover the above theme:-

    (i) Invited papers.

    (ii) Contributed sessions.

    (iii) Graduate papers.

    (iv) Technical sessions:

  • Algorithms for image processing and their parallelism.
  • Distributed algorithms for multidiciplinary design optimisation in aeronautical engineering.
  • Parallel linear solvers.
  • Parallel algorithms for wave propagation.

  • Extension of Deadline for submitting abstracts for presentation at the conference: 15/04/2005.
  • Notification of acceptance for presentation at the confernece: 30/04/2005.
